This is a year of falling down,
(You lied)
Ridiculous and stubborn,
Taking the blame for what I once hated,
A crack in the sky reveals its intention
And screams at the ground,
Taking the care for which I have traded,
A slow forming wound buried in the skin,
Finds it's way out into open arms,
A crack in the soul,
A stain on the glass,
It's time I stop fighting it and wait for it at last,
Time it will find it's waking way into my arms,
And save me at last,
But as I wait here I find myself falling,
Into a shame circle I cannot shake,
A fork in the road,
A slow forming wound buried in the skin,
Finds it's way out into open arms,
A crack in the soul,
A stain on the glass,
It's time I stop fighting it and wait for it at last,
Slipping through pathways of no resistance,
Sliding through all that you know,
Access the point where you feel yourself falling,
No that there's no way out of here,
A slow forming wound buried in the skin,
Finds it's way out into open arms,
A crack in the soul,
A stain on the glass,
It's time I stop fighting it and wait for it at last,
It's forming in front of my eyes,
Resolve and take control of a life blessed by which I cannot describe.
Opus of a Machine is a concentrated blend of melodic, guitar-driven progressive rock and delicate, ambient post-rock that is pouring with exciting, powerful rhythmic energy and emotionally engaging harmony.
Straws Pulled at Random on steroids. This album feels very ethereal, like gazing into the soul of the brightest star while soaring through space. Amazing while looking at the night sky. Primedot
Updated review.
This one is so good it satisfied my soul. It’s quintessential prog for your collection. And it’s a double so it’s a massive amount of music to take in. Song after song, melodic tempo change after tempo change, this delivers. The price is hugely worth it.
I must live on the wrong continent, my collection is turning disproportionately into an Australian prog showcase. Deej
